We unfortunately use GERBER data to digitize boards more than any CAD. We are CM and many of our customers do not provide CAD. With some Legacy products, we still use 274-D Gerbers.

Hello Dave, Thank you. I certainly look on Used Equipment Mart section. The question was if Gen 1 feeders/trolleys worth to invest or better try to buy EP Gen 2 feeders/trolleys even if significantly much expensier/rare on used machines market.

The first thing that I would do is contact the smock manufacturer and ask them for advice on testing the smocks. ESD FROM A TO Z 2nd ed. (Kolyer) states that: smocks should have a resistivity of less than 10^12/sq and must not shed steel fibers.
